Career Development



We at BCG pride ourselves on our people. They are our most important resource and BCG invests heavily in developing the skills and careers of its employees.

Development is ensured through formal and informal channels and is tracked for each individual by an appointed senior colleague.

We encourage our consultants to take a proactive interest in their self-development by regularly asking for feedback and working to improve upon identified areas of development. The BCG system supports the individual’s development agenda through client case allocation, specific formal training, and mentoring on the job. In addition, employees are presented with opportunities to work in BCG offices worldwide to help them learn the challenges of consulting in a foreign environment.

The process of regular feedback and apprenticeship forms the backbone of our developmental philosophy which is supplemented by formal training and diverse work opportunities.
