I have always wanted to work with the brightest and sharpest of minds. That was one of the reasons I joined BCG. In my early days with the firm, I realized that it is one of the few places where people who are just out of the college get to handle responsibilities. I never thought that I, an engineer fresh out of IIT Delhi, would be interacting with CEOs and trying to solve the same problems as a business-school graduate in her very first month of a job.

What I love best about BCG is the understanding of different problems and finding customised solutions.

Above all, BCG is about its people. People here go out of the way to help you (both with work- related problems and otherwise). They made the transition from college to work life easier for me. BCG has the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. I love the new responsibilities and lifestyle that I have been exposed to at BCG and am looking forward to my future with the firm.

I had just joined IIM Calcutta and BCG’s was the first presentation I attended. It was an informative and very entertaining presentation. All the people from BCG were incredibly friendly and approachable. I was totally impressed. BCG became my dream company.

I got an internship offer from the firm during the summers. My experience as a summer intern was even more amazing as I was able to make a difference to the client organization in such a short period of time. This was a great learning experience. At the end of my internship when I was offered a job, I immediately accepted it and chose to start and build my career at BCG.

From developing knowledge about a new industry to working closely with clients, I have been challenged in new ways and I have been enjoying these experiences. The firm has given me a fair share of ownership and responsibility.
 
I have seen people with completely different personalities become very successful at BCG. You can follow your own style and find success in the firm. The company goes out of its way to accommodate the personal requests employees may have. There is a great sense of camaraderie among all employees and such a collegial working environment—work at BCG never ceases to be fun.

BCG has been my dream company for quite some time now. Ever since I started interacting with BCG folks at ISB, I was mesmerized by the work culture at BCG—extremely engaging and accomplished people with strong ethical beliefs and yet very approachable. Each and every person I have interacted with, so far, has been so easy to connect with and to get into a healthy and enriching intellectual discussion that I feel energized and motivated just by being in any group setting at BCG.

I expected consulting to be challenging, full of variety and opportunities to make a great impact, and so far I have not been proven wrong. Every project is unique and there is no limit to what you can accomplish. Consulting is indeed an amazing profession where you always “play with your limits.”  More often then not, I have been forced to think beyond what I am used to. BCG has provided me the right amount of thrust and support to grow and achieve to the best of, and, even beyond what I thought were, my abilities. I feel like I am living a dream, here at BCG.

When I decided to work in India, the first company which came to my mind was BCG, because of the people they had hired from my batch at IIMA. I was very happy interacting with them during my B-school days and had a firm belief that BCG had a mix of people who would be compatible with my attitude & work ethic. I joined BCG as a lateral in 2005 and have had an amazing journey since then.

The interactions during my interview process cleared any doubts I might have had about a career in BCG. The caliber and nature of people I met and the entire interviewing process truly impressed me.

My first year saw me working across many industries, doing multiple projects, interacting with client top management and having fun in Kunoor, Bangkok, Goa, Bali, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Colleagues were very accommodating from the beginning, reducing the time required to integrate into BCG culture.

I have enjoyed the late night parties, the bonding sessions, the project team dynamics, the trust displayed by client managers, the ground level impact created, the high intensity discussions on insights generated and would not trade it for anything else.
