When I decided to work in India, the first company which came to my mind was BCG, because of the people they had hired from my batch at IIMA. I was very happy interacting with them during my B-school days and had a firm belief that BCG had a mix of people who would be compatible with my attitude & work ethic. I joined BCG as a lateral in 2005 and have had an amazing journey since then.

The interactions during my interview process cleared any doubts I might have had about a career in BCG. The caliber and nature of people I met and the entire interviewing process truly impressed me.

My first year saw me working across many industries, doing multiple projects, interacting with client top management and having fun in Kunoor, Bangkok, Goa, Bali, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Colleagues were very accommodating from the beginning, reducing the time required to integrate into BCG culture.

I have enjoyed the late night parties, the bonding sessions, the project team dynamics, the trust displayed by client managers, the ground level impact created, the high intensity discussions on insights generated and would not trade it for anything else.
