Arvind earned his Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.  Prior to BCG, Arvind worked with the Tata Administrative Service where he was involved with the group's entry into several new businesses.

"My work at BCG centres on serving telecom and automotive clients on issues of strategy, leadership, organisation and operations.  I also lead BCG's 'Next Billion Consumers' topic area.

"One of my telecom clients remarked, “There’s no such thing as a ‘killer app’, .. there are only ‘killer cocktails’!”. To me, consulting at BCG occupies a sweet spot. There’s intellectual stimulation. You often have the satisfaction of seeing your work have a very significant impact at a client. And there’s an amazing amount of energy emanating from the very bright people you work with. It’s an unbeatable mix.

"My hobbies include directing plays, trekking in the Sahyadris and scuba diving."
