Seema joined BCG in 2000 after earning a degree in engineering and then an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta.

"In my opinion, the best way to continuously learn personally as well as professionally is by embarking on an adventure, by getting into an environment that is completely new and challenging. And consulting fits this bill perfectly. I came to consulting out of a desire for variety in work and chose BCG as the place to learn. My hypothesis of BCG being the right combination of innovative ideas and path breaking work as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere has been validated from day one.

My husband and I share a passion for travel and adventure sports so our free time efforts range from trekking in the ghats outside Bombay to scuba diving in the Red Sea. I've also developed a love for the stage, so I regularly go to the theater."
